In the pages of time, woven of shadow and light, blooms an inexhaustible source of imagination and wisdom: oriental literature.
There, under the minute caresses of the blazing sun, poets dance with subtle words brimming with perpetual beauty; while wandering verses blow across the infinite sands, carrying with them captivating tales of the vast oceans that harbor the richness of our humanity.
Nonetheless, in the library shelves of Western lands, the literary Orient is often relegated to a minor position, known only to a handful of scholars. And yet, there it is, invisibly present in the recesses of Western collective memory.
From the quotations of Rumi to the tales of the Thousand and One Nights, the literary heritage of the Orient permeates the visual and auditory perceptions of our daily lives. From advertising posters to idiomatic expressions, the setting and rising Orient feed the Western imagination in a context continually tinged with prejudice.
Our project is rooted in this observation, with the aim of dismantling these prejudices and promoting a genuine cultural exchange between East and West.
Our meticulous selection of oriental masterpieces is designed to enable you to fully appreciate the immensity of this ancestral literature. What’s more, we’re committed to establishing a harmonious dialogue between civilizations by rediscovering the impact of these works on Western lands, thus helping to strengthen the unbreakable ties that unite these two worlds.
