Rahaf is a young syrian architect. She has been working in the Directorate General of Antiquities and Museums since 2013. She is a member of » Project Anqa », a joint initiative of ICOMOS, CyArk, and CIMS, for the digital documentation of monuments in Damascus. She participated in the documentation of Palmyra after its liberation from ISIS and initiated an urban laser scanning project in the Old Aleppo. As a PHD candidate in History and Archaelogy in PPCU, Hungary, she is working on the digital reconstruction of the historic urban fabrix of the old city of Aleppo
