Student at Sciences Po Lille in the Major « Conflict & Development », Omar Babakhouya has developed a significant interest in the Near and Middle East region. In that perspective, he achieved a research project on the relationship between Turkey and the Arab world since the beginning of the XXI century. Highly attached to the culture, he is young ambassador at the Institut du Monde Arabe (Paris) and co-founder of the society Maïdan Sciences Po Lille that promotes the knowledge about Middle East societies through conferences and events. Arabic- speaker, he has a particular interest for poetry, philosophy and history from the Arab world.
