Amel Aït-Hamouda is a doctoral candidate in comparative literature at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle, where her thesis focuses on the comparative analysis of the French versions of One Thousand and One Nights. As a foreign language lecturer, she has worked in several universities in Africa, Asia, and Europe and was responsible for French literature and translation courses. She is currently a resident at the French Institute for Anatolian Studies (IFEA), and is also an editorial member of the journal of literary studies of Laval University, Chameaux.
